2014年1月10日下午，美國駐上海總領(lǐng)館的文化官員Ms Molly訪問了南京百年職校，主持了南京百年英語競賽部分項(xiàng)目，并負(fù)責(zé)頒獎(jiǎng)。
本周五我們舉行了英語競賽，每個(gè)同學(xué)都很認(rèn)真地對(duì)待這次的競賽。
英語競賽分為兩個(gè)階段，首先是個(gè)人賽，個(gè)人演講，總共十五名同學(xué)，大家都是自信滿滿，他們臉上露出的不是緊張的神情而是必勝的笑容。我是第一個(gè)上場(chǎng)，走到場(chǎng)內(nèi)，大家都說第一個(gè)上場(chǎng)的是炮灰，這句話可“惹”到我了，我偏不信，我就要展現(xiàn)最好的自己，來個(gè)開門紅嘛！加油！
十五個(gè)同學(xué)都演講完了，接下來就要團(tuán)體賽了，這時(shí)來了一位重量級(jí)的風(fēng)云人物——Ms Molly，她是美國的文化官員，團(tuán)體賽中，她負(fù)責(zé)報(bào)單詞和搶答兩個(gè)比賽項(xiàng)目。她報(bào)的單詞主要來于星期六外教教過的，所以說只要星期六上課認(rèn)真聽的、下課又認(rèn)真背了，那些英語單詞都不成問題的。搶答是分為A、B、C三組，規(guī)則是答對(duì)一題加一分，答錯(cuò)一題扣一分，最后Ms Molly親自為獲獎(jiǎng)同學(xué)頒獎(jiǎng)。
因?yàn)闀r(shí)間關(guān)系Ms Molly主持完兩個(gè)項(xiàng)目之后就先回去了，接下來由三個(gè)組的領(lǐng)隊(duì)來主持，分別為拼字游戲、我來比劃你來猜、傳話游戲，這三個(gè)游戲的最終獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)都是我們C組，哈哈！團(tuán)結(jié)就是力量！這次的個(gè)人賽我沒有拿到獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)，失敗乃是成功之母，我不會(huì)退縮，我會(huì)更加努力地學(xué)英語，彌補(bǔ)自己的不足，加油，爭取下次會(huì)成功，come on ！

English Speech——About Me
I have been in the school for half one year. It is very fast. Time flies, but I don’t know what I have done.
I always think I am older than my schoolmate. I cannot waste time. So I am busy every day. I have many plans for study. I plan when to do homework, when to do practical trainings and when to preview the lesson. But I don’t plan when to rest. I am so busy. Sometimes I feel disturbed.
Two months past like that. I could not bear it. I felt tired. I always asked others to do something for me, but I did not pay the same. I always argued with my roommates. I always thought my classmates were different from me. However, I did not know why I was always alone and why I was not happy every day. I had troubles in interpersonal skill. I could not imagine if I always like that.
I realized I should change.
I start to pay attention to the interesting things and special places in my life. I find my class is so special, warm and harmonious. There are 26 people in my class, with just two girls. The boys are always like gentlemen to us. They call us pandas and treat us like treasures. They take up a lot work for us. They look after us when we volunteer outside the school. We have lived together for quite long now, however, I did not know they were so good. In my free time, I chat with them. They tell me their experience, their family and so on. Some of them dropped out of school because their family did not have money. They had to work though they were only children. They are so cute and kind. How could I ignore them in the past? I feel lucky to be in cookery class with such nice classmates.
